A few details let us reproduce the problem instead of guessing. Include the YouTube link, whether you chose MP4 or MP3, the quality you picked, and the exact message you saw. Tell us which browser and device you use, and roughly when it happened.
Some videos cannot be converted at all, for example private videos, age-restricted videos or live streams that are still running. If the link opens only when you are signed in to YouTube, the converter will not be able to read it either.
